exhaust manifold studs

exhaust manifold studs

I'm considering fixing the exhaust manifold studs myself on my max, but i need a good write up. anyone know of a good one for the ve?

The writeup for the front (left) exhaust manifold is here
There is a short paragraph re rear manifold however I must say we still missing a good writeup for the rear exhaust manifold. May be somebody of gurus (Matt?) will bother to make it some day

so you're saying there isn't a write up on removing the rear manifold studs?

the rear is the same as the front- just a little harder to get to. If you're waiting on step-by-step instructions on it before you think you can do it, then I'd suggest not to touch the car at all.

i'm not asking for a step by step, i just wanna know whether its easier to take the engine out or just take the head off
