anyone know if they are seviceable or if another year/ style can be fitted. it looks like a pretty simple bushing, but i think nissan will only sell you the arm. my dilema is that i'm going to be cutting up the arms to shorten them an inch so my 20's can tuck like a motha, but ill end up melting them with the heat. any suggestions?

 

They are available, do you need for the trailing arm or lateral arm (that's how they're cataloged)

 

There are Polyurethane bushings for them aswell

could do matt's kit and have him use 1" shorter rods too

 

pretty sure theyre the lateral arms( the one there's four of), i'd have to look at the trailing arms and see if i need them too at the same time. i dont think there's a differance, they look to be the same width but i have 4 adjustable arms. let me know what you get for them.

i would use matt's kit, but i'm not sure if im gonna need it to be an inch or more shorter, this way i can mock it up and cut and weld then just put it back together, plus my suspension is soooooooo stiff, i want something that will absorb some of the road noise.

 

The bushings are available at your nissan dealer. I got all the bushings for the rear (trailing and parallel arms) from Kaleb at Courtesy for around $80 or so.

They do make urethane bushings too so that is another option.

 

yup.. you could go my way as well, but I don't know if shortening them more than an inch will be possible unless I order them that long from the machine shop.
the other thing you could do is get the urethane bushings from courtesy. they're about half the price of the OEM rubber ones. road noise won't really change either. it gets a little louder in mine, but it's not bad at all with decent tires.

 

my database showed them only as full assemblies, but thats cool that i can buy them sepperately. looking at it again i may not even need them because im now gona cut the arm in the middle, so i can put a sleeve on the inside and a coupling on the outside to make it nice and strong. either way itll be something i buy after i do all the work and i'm ready to fully assemble it. wheelwells are being cut out today(or at least what was left of them)
