Potential body decay???

When it rains drainage from the sunroof has to go somewhere. . . Does it just get stored in the body and slowly trickle out the bottom somewhere? I keep hearing a swishing sound during and 3 days after a rain storm.

Na, ya see there is a hose at the bottom of the moonroof assembly, goes somewhere to the back wheel wells.

i think a set goes to the front fenders, not sure if there is another pair... but i did find some water leakage under my rear seats a couple weeks ago, so...still puzzled on that one....

I think the sunroof has at least some hoses in the c pillars that drain out near the rear wheels.
My Maxima had a water leak from a rear tail light into the spare tire wheel, that would spill out over and under the rear seat. Take a look, just in case. But I think people have talked about sunroof tubes becoming clogged-just probably have to take the interior c pillar trim and maybe the headliner off-maybe someone will verify all that.

Interesting...my car's body is pretty much rust free, but I did notice some corrosion around moonroof opening when it's open, I'm not really worrying about it though.

My moonroof sheild/cover is off it's tracks though...has anyone had this problem as well, and fixed it? I have to push up on it to get it to back and forward...it's sort of annoying, though I never really use it.
