Couple of newbie questions

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself. I recently purchased an '03 Titanium Edition 6-speed HLSD with everything except nav and Meridian. It is Polished Titanium w/ grey leather interior. I will post pics the next I wash it. This is my third Maxima (following three and a half years with an '89 SE 5-speed and four years with a '96 GXE 5-speed). The .org was an extremely useful source of info when I was researching the 5.5 gen Maximas, and I ended up purchasing the vehicle from a .org member in Texas and driving the car back to my home of San Diego. I look forward to becoming a more vocal part of this board now that I have my '03.

I have a couple of quick newbie questions:
1. Which red LEDs is everyone using for the rear sidemarker lights? I purchased single LEDs from www.midnightmoose.com. They installed easily but the light output is fairly weak. The back third of the clear lens really does not light up red because the LED is too weak. Has anyone installed the six- or nine-LED bulbs from www.autolumination.com?
2. Has anyone bought the black pearl license plate frame from Courtesy Parts? I'm looking for a license plate frame that closely matches the Polished Titanium of my car, and I can't quite tell from the Web site if the black pearl is really black or more of a gray color. Has anyone installed it on a Polished Titanium? How does it match? Perhaps my best bet is to buy a plain stainless steel frame and have it painted to match my car.
