Poor gas milege, timing is off, aac valve not right.

Should I take my max to a garage to tune up my engine? Or a dealer who would know more and charge me too much.

Or can I do this myself?

I've been trying over a month now. I really hate only getting 260 miles per tank.

that;s probably a leaky exhaust, which can also hurt the o2 as well

you could put in some sea foam and look where the smoke comes from and there is your leak. You'll clean the inside of your engine as well.

I finally fixed my idle. VG30

For a the longest time I couldn't set my timing correctly. The timing had to be at 30 just so the AAC would provide enough air or something to that effect. After driving on 11mpg for a about a month, I changed the 02 sensor and VOILA! I set the timing to 20 idle and it's all good. We'll see how it good it is on gas now.

The aac still needs adjustment because starves for air at 5500. Should i turn the AAC clockwise or counter to fix it?
