The GR-2 would be good. I would maybe go with some Tein or Eibach springs.

Thanks

Go with the JIC FLT-A1. Much better coilover then the Tein SS.

JIC offers this over the Tein:

Front camber plates
Upper pillow ball mount
Full suspension travel at any height setting

With the Tein's, you have to use the OEM upper mounts. Height is adjusted by the spring perch, which changes your spring rate and limits suspension travel.

i plan on gettin 18's to replace stock 16's....i kno my car will look like a 4x4 and so i plan on gettin some eibach springs.....is it neccessary to get some struts too? if i get a very good pair of springs would that mean i can forget about the struts?

if not i guess ill have to go with the gr-2's if i want a cheap aftermarket struts

If you get the ProKit or don't lower alot you should be ok with just the springs for awhile. The GR-2 and the Eibach would be a good combo.

the oem struts were not meant to go with lowering springs. it can be done but it is not recommended because you will make your struts go out faster.

what do you recommend for the most compliant ride? I live in NYC, and I rather drive through small potholes than pretend that it's a slolum course. I usually have a full load of people in my car, so I want something comfortable as well.

Let's put it this way. I want a stock ride, but the dropped look.

Do you have the 00-03 Illuminas in stock and ready to ship? Because a lot of vendors are having supply issues with Tokico for this series. I just want to make sure that if I order they will ship the next day and not three weeks later.

Yeah, I'm not saying anything bad about him, it's just that nobodies heard from him, and one of the people in the thread got an email from his wife saying he had "gone to the dessert" (iraq maybe).

Would slower (and less expensive) shipping be an option to get it more in the $425-$430 range that the other GD was going to be and that I could get them for on ebay? I'd rather get them from an org established seller, but if not might just go for the ebay ones. Also would combining shipping make things any cheaper? There's another GD for H-techs for $170 now, but if combined shipping with struts would make up some of the difference it would probably be easier to get it all from one place. Sorry for being so cheap, but I just want to get the most out of my money (damn a suspension can get expensive). Thanks .

I can get the price down some if you order say the illuminas and some springs. PM me for multi-item orders. As for the shipping, Ground would be $3 less, we get a special deal on fedex 2nd day on some items.

We don't have any Illuminas instock for the 00-03, but I just called Tokico and they have them instock. 2-3 days to the warehouse and then shipping from CA to you by UPS ground 3-6 days depending on where you are. Same for the 95-99 Illuminas.

Thanks

$427 shipped for the front pair for 2000 Maxima and a rear pair for 1996 Maxima.

$630 shipped would be the best I can do on the Htech and the Illuminas.

Thanks

And that would be the 2nd day fedex? Also, why are 2000 fronts with 1996 rears cheaper? Thanks.

*edit* could you also give a price for illumina's with H&R's? Thanks again.

I actually called in yesterday about ordering all 4 illuminas for my 98. Only problem is im in canada and don't want to ship through ups/fed ex. Border charges are way too much. Usps could ship them for probably much cheaper. They probably still do run the risk of being opened at the border but if you claim them as a smaller value, the taxes wont be as high. Anyways, let me know to postal code: L1G 6T3

thanks,
Brian

Actually that would be with Ground shipping, I can't get the Tein on the 2nd day deal. We can still have the tokico go out 2nd day though.

It is cheaper because the 96 rears are less then the 2000 rears.

Take $8 off for the H&R and Illuminas.

no clear answers on the best ones for maxspeeds. i am running on 18x8, and do not have any rubbing issues. wanna keep it that way. don't really want to adjust them either.

Or you can pay with a Western Union Money Order. Just go to any Western Union location, some places can do it online at http://www.westernunion.com

You can email me the confirmation number.

Or you can use Western Union's http://www.auctionpayments.com if you are paying for an auction.

So H&R's would Be LESS than H-techs? I'm confused (nothing new I guess), aren't H&R's normally more expensive? How long does ground shipping take? Thank you.
