Hi there,
I recently bought a 96 GLE and it came without a manual. can anyone tell me how to program radio stations in memory (bose radio)?
Also, is there anyway to have the car beep (make any slight interior noise) when the engine is off but the headlights are still on? My '89 Olds used to beep slightly, which was very convinient as I would never forget to turn the headlights off. The same went for the blinkers- if they were on for a while, the beeping would start... Is there a way to do the same on the Maxima?
Also, I just had my sunroof fixed and it works ok now, but the inner cover (the one that opens and closes independent of the roof itself) just went off the tracks and does not go more than half way back- hence neither does the roof. I am taking it to the guy who "fixed" it first chance I get, but how prone am I to this type of stuff in the future?

Thanks
Roman

Not very prone....sounds like you got the bad pick of the litter....lol....your car should make like a high pitched ringing noise whenever you turn the car off and open the door with your lights on or when you leave your keys in or the blinkers....also....to program radio stations with the bose....turn to the station you like and hold down one of the keys (1-6) until you see a number appear with the station.....hope this helps.

1. VinnyD is right bout the radio, just hold the button in until it 'catches'.
2. VinnyD is right, the car 'boings' if the keys are left in the ignition or the headlights are on if the door is open.
3. Try lifting the sunshade up and to the left or right. Mine got caught up, or fell off the track and when I played with its seating on the track, it fixed itself.
4.Congratulations on the purchase.
