Who has a Street Sweeper? I do....

I recently dropped my car with Illuminas/Vogtlands. No more 4x4 and the drop has a nice appearence (3 finger gap). However, I also have the complete V1 Sarona Kit. I now have very little front clearence because my front bumper angles downward towards the tires. Three inches to be exact. I'm a little afraid to drive it, but lucky it's not my only Maxima. How long do you think it'll take for me to tear my **** up? Just joking, (fingers crossed) Who else has extreme low front clearence?
How low? I need peace of mind!

I HAD a Stillen front lip, not as low as yours, but seemed to hit everything in sight, that was of course for the 3 days I had it, until it was violently torn off on the freeway by a large piece of a torn up rig tire.

Not peace of mind for you, but it is my story. I'm sure there are other not so grim success stories.

I store it in the winter. Put up the 98 and drive the 95. Otherwise my odds would probably be a 1,000,000 to 1.

Your car looks phat! Same color as my 98. My 95 has the Stillen lip, but no drop. Winter friendly. LOL

Any kind of front bumper/lip is gonna suffer damage. I went to South Padre for spring break this year. Like a dumb@ss I also took my car on the beach. We went on the deep side of the beach where the sand is deep and soft. My friggen stillen lip acted like a plower and ripped right off. It was a horrible start to a dazed SB.

Sorry to hear that. I know the feeling. I've torn up some lips on two previous Max's, but you gotta love the look. Does anyone have something short of a horror story to tell. Maybe one with a happy ever after ending?

I have my ride set pretty low. There is about a 2 finger gap in the front, and a 3 finger gap in the back. My front bumper is exactly 6 inches from the ground. My splash gaurds are 3 inches from the ground and they get tore up on speedbumps even when I go at angle. It's a ood thing they are just spalsh guards. This is a picture of my car coming out of my driveway. The car never scraps when I come out the driveway but it is very close. Do you think that I have room for a kit?? (J/K...lol )

bottom line: you just have to drive extra careful and learn when and when NOT to drive your car. click the "maxima bible" link under sig and it even shows you how to drive w/a lowered car.

How much your suspension setup cost? Sounds a quite expensive.

after swaping out different airlines, fittings bigger tanks, compressor, and more valves, I have around 2,900. but its worth it when you have to go on a steep driveway.

This is why I don't put a stillen kit on my max. As much as I like them, it's just too low. I scrape going into my driveway now if I'm not careful...
