The Z32 maf is calibrated totally different from the A32 maf. It can meter substantially more air than the A32 maf, yet the output voltage range is the same 5.1 V. So, for a given amount of air going into the engine, the Z32 maf is giving a much smaller signal to the ecu. The A32 may have enough latitude to compensate in closed loop operation based on what the O2 sensors are telling it, but anytime during open loop operation (acceleration) you are going to be very lean, hence the bogging. Take it off ASAP and put your oem maf back on.

you need to run JWT ECU programed for the given maf. If you wonna run a bigger maf you might as well get a cobra one. also what the .... iat resistor.

By the way, the oem maf is good for 350 hp at the flywheel, so there is no use for a larger one unless you're boosted or juiced, and then you have to have the ecu reprogrammed, like ABK says.

people who use z32 MAF are running high boost so they need that broader spectrum of air flow measuring. If you aern't FI take it off.
