Just added an Alpine CDA-7892 head unit using the AMP-NIS2/OEM-1/RAD-UNV setup and the front tweeters are not working. All of the other speakers are operating normally, even the Sub. Of note is that I did have to ground the Head Unit to the frame because there was no continuity on yellow + black or red + black on the RAD-UNV lead from the OEM-1 unit.

Overall I must say, the bose speakers sound pretty good with the alpine in , but without the tweeters, the sound stage is a bit wacky.

Anyone else experience this issue?



Probably going to be replace the BOSE in the near future anyways, but incremental upgrades are a little bit easier on the bank account And the OEM kit was like $50, so...

Also, a tip to anyone replacing the bose... just buy new brackets. I had to drill all 8 of those stupid screws out.
