AVIC-N1 install

Anyone put in an AVIC-N1 yet? Just bought one and it arrives any day now. How do you like it? I've only played with a demo. Seemed very user friendly unlike other models. What system dynamics does it monitor? Where is the VSS on a 4th gen? Does it have a remote control?

Just finished another one for an Org member...

Ive had no complaints on all the ones that I did, except for a couple that came with their own (online stores/ebay) and had problems. Theyre now waiting for new ones, and Itll be a few weeks.....

VSS is Pink/Blue behind the insturment cluster.

No remote, they are optional.

Don's referring to my install Rog, I'd suggest you take it up to him if you're unsure about anything, but if you're only mildly unsure I can come by and show you what was done, although you'll need to do the initial prep for the unit (finding and attaching the harnesses to one another before putting them in the car, etc) I have a 99 Max without Bose... I'm loving the unit thus far, and, as we all know, Don's service is, bar none, the best on the E. Coast. I watched S.W.A.T. all the way home while using Navi... the unit is without a doubt the bomb...

Nah..I'm pretty sure I can put it in myself. I just wanted to know where the VSS wire was on the 4th gen and how everyone liked it.
