anyone notice our turning radius su*ks?

I am a noob to this forum. Although I have been reading constantly for the past couple weeks, they've only been the recent posts and back to page ~20-30, and I can't search so I don't know if anyone's posted about this before but....has anyone noticed that our turning radius is huge? It su*ks when I go to pull a U-turn or have to turn sharp to get into a parking spot or something and I have to stop and do a 3-point turn =\. Anyone else notice this? or is it just me?

Well, drive a 6th gen. and you'll be grateful for yours. My old car was good 6" shorter but had if not even worse turning radius than the Max, so I'm actually happy now. I drove a Miata too and that thing could spin around itself.
But that's what you get for driving a Maxima

Yeah, the turning radius on my 2001 SE is like a D@mn school bus! I really enjoy the 8 point turns. LOL! I'm used to it now.

If you have stock springs use the maximas 4x4 capabilitys and encounter some curbs or peoples lawns for a nice smooth u-turn

Weird, I had a friend who drives a Passat and a 1.7EL comment on the fact that my Max has amazing turn radius for the size. *shrug*

its cause we have FWD and nissan doesn't want us to put too much stress on those front axles. I'm not sure of exact terms, but if you notice, we have little tabs on the back of the rotor area that hits the control arm, limiting the amount of turning radius we have.

there have been members who have taken it off completely or others than have adjusted it to make it shorter
