I posted a thread a while back to see if anyone has a sound clip of the Hellahorns Supertone. I found one on Polo's site...

i do what i can mang.....anytime.
that was an interesting nite....i kneel in front of the bumper, my ear right up next to the horns....and tell my boy to honk.....the peircing noise causes me to fall over, i get up, tryin to get the ringing outta my ears and say "that's loud....you gotta try"....and what's the idiot do.....the exact same thing. dumb and dumber to the fullest.

another time, RichSpidizzy, MacAlert, and Playero were at my house. a lovely day of 2 hella installs, FSTB, and RSB. i think i got rich. told him to go check the wiring, as soon as he put his face near it, HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK.

edit: just a little factoid since some people have asked....the LXANYC on my link stands for the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, NYC Theta Upsilon chapter. just an FYI in case we got any other brothers on the board.

You scared the **** out of me last weekend. I was checking Rich's hellas, I get up, and he asks me if I want to hear how loud they are; before I can even answer he hits panic and I jumped! I got scared sh!tless.

Gotta be the newer 140db ones that are tuned to something like 400htz and 500 for the second.

5.5 gen the stock position is both up front... mine are exactly like how you have yours, but that's where the stock horns were too.

Did you use the relay, or did you install it plug-and-play style

you might want to consider rewiring and using the relay. When PoLo did mine, he used the relay and wired the whole thing from scratch with some nice thick gauge wire. I think the thicker gauge allows more juice to get to the horns, because I can swear my Hella's are louder than people who did the plug n play.

I got mine from another org member. Just do a Google search for Hella SuperTone, you'll find them

It doesn't sound very deep to me. Kind of sounds like loud Japanese horns.

If you go to this site (which should have been the first one to come up in Google), it's item number HL85115, the second to last one in the kits section.
