Hi

I have an 88 Maxima with the 3lv6 and the 4speed auto. It is leaking tranny fluid out of the TC to tranny seal. Is this a common problem with these models? Its the first maxima ive owned.

I am not to familiar with this sort of issue. However the auto trannies in this generation has been known to the "not so greatest" trannies that Nissan built. Either way, it sounds like you might want to correct this issue before you loose a tranny seal...but that might involve replaceing the TC if it's leaking.
