I'm getting my first 3rd-gen tommorrow.

Well, tommorrow I'm picking up a '91 Maxima SE 5-speed. A black one with a cloth interior. It's body is a bit rough, scratched and a couple of dings, but only very minor rust in the 2 usual Maxima spots (I've driven quite a few of these. SE's and GXE's. Always liked em, and finally found a good one at a nice price ) It'll be nice to have 2 Nissans in the fleet again ( I have an '86 Pulsar NX too) It drives like a dream. New EM studs, radiator, brakes, clutch, o2 sensor, tires etc. And some blingy-bling bright blue Pioneer head unit and Sony disc changer in the trunk. 114k miles.

Now that the has introduced his car, I have a question.

The only issue with the car is that the ABS won't work and the light stays on. The brakes stop the car really well, and I've never had an ABS car, so I'm not too bothered. But, if I did want to fix it, what would this likely cost? The seller said he had a garage check it and its a sensor of some sort. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help

Welcome to the .org

man, that Pulsar is old school with the light blue air filter housing. I had a 72 510 with one of those. I haven't seen one in years.

Good luck with both of your rides and be sure to check all of the stickies before you start posting a lot of questions. Most of the common stuff is answered in there.
