Limping along after an 1,800 mile road trip...what gives?

Just returned to North Carolina two days ago after spending the summer in Denver for an internship. The 1,800 mile drive back went flawlessly, just as the drive to there had been back in May. Car was pulling very strong the whole way.

However, after parking it overnight upon getting here, and then driving it the next day, I was appalled at the terrible pull it was giving. It felt like the fuel system had suddenly just given up. I mean, it barely limps along until about 5k rpm and then pulls a bit stronger. All in all, though, it has become incredibly sluggish. Why? After driving to Denver and going to work the next day, there were no such issues to speak of. And none the whole time I was there. Why now? The fuel filter, BTW, is nearly brand new new. I had replaced that before leaving for Denver. It is Nissan OE.

Any help will be appreciated as always. I will try an injector cleaner (fuel additive) tomorrow, but I doubt it will help.
