Hi guys I'm new to the site and bought my second max, my first was a 91 GXE, and now a 95 GXE. I like the look of factory fogs and the SE rims on the 99 models where can I get some cheap? I will not mind if they are used but in good condition. Has anyone installed factory fogs on a GXE? if so how hard was it?

I would hit up the junk yards in your town for some. You eill be able to get he cheap there. Thats where i got my back bose speaker that was busted when i got my car. I got the speaker for $20.00. I would at least check there.

Does your car come with cruise control and a power drivers seat? If your car came without the Comfort and Convienence option (of which those are two of the options), you don't have the prewire for the fogs and will have to go aftermarket. Otherwise, if you do, you are going to have to get the foglights, the bracket that holds it onto the bumper, the relay and the turnstalk in order to put the lights into your car. I know that the kit for putting the foglights onto a GXE or GLE are different from the SEs, so you may have to find a GLE with them on and get it from there. As for the rims, check the parts for sale forum, they are almost always on there for cheap.

It's not that hard to install factory fogs. With the help of another person it'll take less than an hour for a complete install, including fog light switch on the steering column.
If you live in MA i'll be able to help you.

Later

I got the power seat and cruise and I did find the wiring harness behind the bumper. Do the fogs come with the bracket turnstalk, bracket, and relay? If they do how much for the set up?
Ps. Thanks

If you open your hood up look for the wire that leads to the headlight, before it goes to the headlight assembly it separates into four directions so follow all the leads one goes to the front bumper blinker, one to the corner light, one to the headlight and another to the fogs. they maybe taped to the lead going to the sidemarker or the front blinkers.they have light gray connectors at the end and are smaller than the ones on the headlights.
