power stearing pump, and hose problems please respond

at first my high preasure power stearing hose had a hole in it. the place ordered the wrong hose and put it on the car, their was lack of preasure in the line and the car would not stear. they then ordered the right one and put it on then they told me that the power stearing pump was weak and could only turn the car at high speeds and not at idle very good. I had them replace the power stearing pump and i got 1 block and the power stearing goes out and the pump starts smoking.

NOW i think that they put the wrong hose on and the lack of preasure caused the first power stear pump to go out because i had no problems with the pump before this just the hose was leaking. I am very ****ed off and dont think i should have to pay for the new power stearing pump or the labor to put a new one on correctly. I have already paid them a sum of $479 for the total job, tomarrow they are going to have a lot of problems with me, i will get a lawyer and the BBB on them if i do not get the $280 back for labor and power stear pump.

question #1

could the lack of preasure in the line with the wrong high preasure power stearing hose on the car, make a older power stearing pump fail?

and after paying them do i have any chance of getting my money back and getting them to fix their faults.

they should be willing to cover the pump and hose as long as they supplied it

the customer is always right. even if they dont admit it. i got my camber (i have sprints) and alignment adjusted. we all know that u must take the wheels off to do this job. well i was driving my car the next day and while going around a corner my wheel flew off. when i checked my other wheels the other front lug nuts werent even finger tight. so the next day i call and of course they deny. they tell me that they didnt take the wheels off. when i tell them that it is impossible to do the job they did without taking them off they try to say that they didnt do the cambering, and that alignment can be done with the wheels off. but on my reciept it clearly showed that they charged me for camber adjustment. so they will be sued bottom line.

the bottom line is that they are probably going to try to call your bluff. if you really want your money back u might have to sue.

well i am thinking that the 2nd hose(one on the car now) still is the wrong hose, because it does not look like the stock one and it burned up the 2nd power stearing pump... if this is the case then i have a very good chance of getting a brand new stearing pump and my $280 back if they will ever beable to do the job right.

try taking it to another shop. maybe nissan dealer and make them just "check" to see if its the right parts (pump, and hose)... When i changed my high pressure hose on my 90 GXE, i told the part store to order the GXE hose, and i took it home and it did not fie. I know I have a GXE though. I took it back, and my acr needed an SE hose even though my car is a 90 GXE. Maybe they tried to force on the wrong hose on your car??????
