another auto tran problem

another auto tran problem

Hey for some reason my auto trany(Under normal driving conditions) is holding the shift from first to second about 3 seconds to long and 2nd to 3rd is holding to but 3rd to four is fine. Now if i floor it from the start it shift hard but does not hesatate to shift. Does anyone know what may be wrong other than a shot trany

I had a similiar problem with my auto trans, I replaced the transmission fluid and it fixed it.

Do you have a tranny cooler. If so try to get your tranny recalibrateed for harder shifts. Supposedly it extends the life of the tranny

Are you refering to the valve-body modification? Or the drop resistor?
