I run to 10000 with Mobil 1. I drive to many miles per month to keep changing at 3000 plus its a waste of money.

3000 is a waste, even with a cheap conventional. Your manual has as many as 7500 miles between changes, if you drive by schedule 2. That's with an OEM filter and a conventional oil. Since synthetic is better, even going by Nissan you could get over 7500 miles out of it. I personally don't quite have the guts to go 10k with my mobil1, though I rationally believe it to be fine.

While member lab analysis supports extended drains with Mobil 1, keep in mind that Mobil advises that with Mobil 1, you can run the maximum distance recommended by the OEM. Even synthetic oil is cheap insurance versus the cost of an engine...if extendeding drains is the objective, I would feel safer using a product that is specifically formulated for that purpose...that way at least the manufacturer of the oil would be on your side in the unlikely event of a problem
