15,000 mile service - needed or not?

I'm a bit past 15k miles now, and the service book lists a bunch of stuff to do. What should I have done that is a must?

hmmm.....flush tranny fluid and put some synthetic in..... oil change, filter change, clean throttle body out with some cleaner, use some chevron fuel system cleaner. To early to change fuel filter, nothing really to maintain.

I had an oil change ~1,500 miles ago. Where can I get a tranny flushed and refilled for relatively cheap? I don't want to mess with cleaning the TB - too many failed MAFs from that, as I've read on here.

Tranny flush at 15k? If anything, I'd do a change every 20-30k or so, but there's no need to flush it at 15k. Of course you can if you need to. A tranny fluid change should be around $50, but a flush would be significantly more.

TB is fine to clean....its the MAF sensor. TB is where your intake ends and your intake manifold begines.

I know what it is... It's just that people who have cleaned it have complained about failed MAFs soon thereafter.

If I flush the tranny soon, I'll holler at Matt..

I'll search some threads to see what exactly was said, but I'mm 99% sure people were blaming the TB cleaning for their failed MAFs, and others were agreeing.

You've taken off the entire manifold and cleaned it, or you took it off and it was still "spotless"??? If the first is true what did you clean it with? Thanks.
