radiator drain plug.... where is it??

radiator drain plug.... where is it??

'01 SE, 5sp.

been looking under the hood, under the car, can't find the drain plug....... where is it????

Passenger side...through a small access hole in the splash shield. Hole is maybe 1.5 inches or so in diameter.

its a platic black phillips type screw...

Thanks guys.... I am just gonna use a popular brand from Pep Boys. I will however, use distilled water, or boiled water, to get rid of the minerals.

Use distilled! I don't think boiling tap water will do much...

Make sure your coolant is sililcate free...Please reference this POST for LOTS of good info about coolant changing.
