For those with aftermarket angel eyes headlights for 2000

[B]

[B] Hey well im heck of a newbie on this forum. But i was wondering has anyone tried putting h3 or h4 bulbs on the angel eye headlights? I was thinking would the headlights be too strong and end up burning the inclosure? And also those that have them do they have around 6 dots showing while having them on. And also for those that have a 2000 max do they have a problem with headlights where looks like the clearcoat of the headlight is comming off and its not as shiny anymore. Please help.

The aftermarket projector angel eyes headlights that are currently available for the '00 & '01 Maxima already come with H3 and H4 bulbs.

As for the stock headlights developing a haze, you can take care of that with plastic polish that many auto parts stores sell. It'll make everything look almost new and shiny.

Peace.

Take a look at page two of my cardomain site.

BTW: On the aftermarket projectors for 2K0/2K1 Maximas, the projectors uses H3 bulbs and the High beams uses H1 bulbs. It's embossed on the headlights. It even says SAE/DOT approved.

I have this haze also developing on my headlights, but it looks like it's inside the headlight. Will plastic polish take care of it, because I now that this is a common problem with us 2K-2K1 owners..?

I think if you take the car to the dealer, they open them and clean them up for you since the stuff is on the inside.
