I had a problem installing mine in my 2000.
I think the 2k is the only year that has a real issue with it.

My man, B2K, WHATS GOOD man! And my fellow NY's and LI's, ONE. It seems i have 3 exposed hoses with the weapon R. They were all going to the stock resonator. At least one of them leads to the engine block so i'm a little concerned. Rich, did u finish the install? I just finished, it was a serious pain. It really seems like it doesn't fit! But i'll see how i've done. My only boy with an intake on a max will come by tonite so I can compare the job. The PCV is good and another fat hose goin to the engine block is also. So these other hoses, remove? We'll see, input!

I wish I could take a pick and post it, but my friend has the Digi Cam connector at his house and he's in Vegas till Tuesday.

On mine, the intake had 3 ports for hoses. 2 on 1 side and one on the other. The problem was that my 2k had all 3 hoses going to the same side of the resonator for the stock intake.
I had to take one of the hoses and almost kink it to get it to reach to the other side of the intake.
It sounds really good when it's finally finished.
If your still having doubts/questions I can take a ride out tonight and show you. I live in Sayville and it's only about a 25 minute drive (For me anyway).

If this hose is what you are talking about, it does not connect to anything!

Just to confirm, the hose coming from the top of engine goin to PCV valve doesn't get involved?

The PCV valve is on the other side of the engine. It has nothing to do with the intake. The breather hose I circled in the picture is to the transmission.

I like the Weapon R a lot. Has a nice growl to it up high.
From what I've read the Injen is just way too much money for what you get. You're paying for the name.
