Xtec foglight 6000K HIDs installed! *PICS*

All I can say is wow - these things look awesome. Really clear and beautiful to the naked eye. The camera takes some of the gorgeous qualities of the 6000K HID away, but you can still see how great they look. Should have used a tripod
Thanks to Matt from Umnitza for this sweet product...
Here are the pics.. more in the next post.

Anyone know if it's possible to fit projector fogs in stock housing?

In the headlights, yes they are. The time involved however is just retarded, not to mention 1 wrong move & your headlights go down the drain. Not worth the risk IMO. Not to mention your in NY.

Sorry, I meant fitting foglight projectors like those found in a Lexus inside our foglights.

Now your talking more sensable Yes those "should" be possible. I was gonna start doing this project later on this year when I got some free time on my hands. Only issue I see is fabbing up a bracket behind it all to support the setup.

They look great! I wish I would have known that I had to take my MT lip off to change fog bulbs or I would have left the HIDs in there. I miss all the output from them. The kit your using looks great, the color is a bit more purple than stock but nice.

I like your HID fogs, but it seems like there is a color difference between the low beam and fog HID beam...HID fog looks more purple'ish to me...it might just be the picture though...

The man wanted 6000K, he got 6000K.
They also come in more white/blue - 5000K.

Group buy?

Then I would have got the 5000K to match the stock HID head lights...It's weird though because my friend has the Hella HID fogs 6000K and his are the same exact color as his driving lights (perfect match). He had originally put in 7000K Hella's, but they had the purple look to them and didn't match.

Why would you get HIDs in yellow?

We sold out of 5000K today.

We will be getting more in a couple of days, but we have 2 back orders already.

Thanks for the kind words, all..

As Matt said, I wanted 6000K, because I am planning on changing my low beams to 6000K in the near future (if anyone wants to trade my stock 4300K HID's for 6000K's, shoot me a PM).

nyautostyle - it's a PIAA Hyper White bulb. It looks blue but blinks white..

maximaman777 - Crap, I'm sorry.. I confused your email message with someone elses and overlooked returning you an answer.

Oh, and Matt, your camera owns mine.

Because yellow light is more "visible."
