dude... each to his own. The fact remains though, that by the physical properties of light transmittance and the way the human eye works, yellow light will "see" through fog better.....I didn't say everyone should get them, I'm just saying that there are KNOWN scientific ways that this has/can be proven...I would think as a person who sells lighting you would know that.....but people gotta do what they want to do...most people aren't worried about fog. But obviously I can understand you're trying to sell HID fogs, so you're not going to say that yellow are better.....

Hey you bought the plug and play kit where you just simply cut and rewired the stock harness to the male end of the connector right?

Now I read a couple posts on HIDPLANET and they say it should be used with a relay and run the power straight to the battery to ensure the wire from melting.

Is this what you have to do?

If not how has it been holding up anyone with this please reply, thanks!

By the way I ordered a test KIT in H3 and is test installing it on my fogs because I am saving the headlight for a retrofit w/ projectors. Anyone who has been waiting on the answer about my little group deal wait a bit longer. I want to assure that the supplier I am getting this from supplies quality products, so I am testing this before I am selling this to you. I will post pics with results within this week. Thanks for waiting.

Have you gotten any glare of blinding the cars in front of you?

Also how does the fog look on the side, did any light leak out of the housing?

I am getting one installed and I would like to know, did you also use relay to drive the power or did you just tapped into factory harness.?

no glare, no side leaking, tapped into stock wiring.

don't waste your time trying to contact umnitza. they used to sell xtec but they don't support them anymore.

Obviously you didn't bother to read the thread. 1) Umnitza doesn't sell these anymore. 2) Install take about 20min-1hr depending upon skill level.

Here is my fogs in 6000k but not by xtec.

Install was not bad, but I found out you would need to run 2 grounds for my 01 from the inside of the cap to the other ground supplied with the oem harness. H

Hardest part was mounting the ballast upside. I HATE DOUBLE SIDED TAPE. ANyone with side skirts feel my pain.
