Jic 1/2 Or Tein Ss

For the guys who have the JIC 1 or 2 or TEIN SS, which one do you guys have and how is the ride?

I want to buy the JIC's but there is a 5 way adjustable or 15 way adjustable. The tein has the 16 way adjustable I think. Is it really that important to have the 15 way adjustable? Its a big price difference.

I'm thinking about buying the 5 way adjustable and calling it the day but the Tein is the same price as well.

What do you guys think? I'm looking for ride quality.

I have the JIC FLT-A2s, I like them very much. As for needing all of the levels of adjustability, I'm not sure. I set mine 12 out of 15 towards the stiff side and never looked back. I have read some complaints about the ride quality here on the board, but I have recieved nothing but compliments from fellow car enthusiasts about the comfort and stability of the ride. I guess it is too personal for you to really rely on some post on the org when it comes to ride quality. I'm really happy with mine. I can't speak for the FLT A1s or the Teins but they are sure to be a high quality product. That being said the ride quality of any coilover is going to be dramatically different compared to stock, and probably not too much of a difference between the brands. This probably doesn't help you decide, but it is what experience I have.

Thanks for your comments. The ones you have are quite expensive indeed. I'm thinking about trying out the Tein SS coilovers and I think no one on this org has these.

I have the a1's and love them. People that ride in my car expect it to be hell and then get in and are surprised by how the ride is. I don't know if they are available right now. I know someone is selling their a1's on the classifieds. I grabbed the last set in the U.S. back in like the beginning of july. Whether or not they have more in is beyond me.
Good luck w/whatever you do and post some pics when it's all done
