has anyone tried that section replacement that warpspeed makes for the y-pipe? i would really like to get rid of the buzzing noise, and i am hoping that would do it.

 

nope.. mine rattled at the flex.. and my mechanic saw that there was a clip on there somwhere bangin up against it, so we welded that bish down. Rattlles a lil @ WOT but not that bad with the music up.

I replaced the flex section on my old Budget y-pipe w/ Warpspeed's flex section because it sounded like crap (vintage aircooled beetle "Wee-wee-wee"! that went w/ the acceleration). I bought it brand new and it sounded like that right after I installed it. There were no leaks @ the gaskets; it was coming from the flex section. I had a muffler shop cut off the old one, replace w/ Warpspeed's lined flex section and its been quiet ever since.
