2001 auto, there is a byunch of clikcing noises that sound like it is comming from under the steering wheel by the fuse box. It sounds like an electrical clicking. What is this?

wow, my friend had the same problem with his Acura. we popped his hood, but it wasnt under the hood. but really its right under the steering wheel. it only happened when he started his car. it would click about a dozen times and then stop. how odd. i think he brought it to the dealer cause he was still under warranty but i dont know what it was.

The clicking is most likely from a relay located under the dash. Which relay? I don't know.

BTW, does this happen when you are stepping on the brake to shift from park to R or D? If so, that's the shift lock mechanism.
