Corrosion in #3 spark plug hole, whats up?

I just purchased my Max about a month ago. Its a plain jane 95 GXE 5 speed w/ 85K. I changed back to NGK platinum spark plugs about a week ago. When changing the spark plugs I noticed the #3 spark plug cylinder well (Middle one back along the firewall) had some corrosion rust looking stuff inside the hole. I cleaned it up the best I could, but none of the other cylinder wells looked like this?? Any ideas?

Thanks, Mack

Someone cleaned it and some residue was left in that hole. Not a biggie. If it was oily, then your valve cover gasket might be leaking

yea i was gonna say check your valve cover gasket. There could be alittle oil getting thgorugh not enough to build up where it was really noticeable, but maybe it is causing some moister. i dunno if oil does that htough, just a though.
