how hard/long to change out KNOCK SENSOR?

how hard and how long did it take u to change out ur knock sensor?

Not too hard, but just incase you need to stick your hand in there make sure the engine block is cool. I was just like "**** it" and stuck my hand in there even though the engine block was hot.

Be patient and it can be done in less than an hour.

There's a way to get a wrench in there to loosen it. Then you can use one of those flex socket extensions and pull the thing off.

I think the official way in the manual is to take off the intake plenum. You can do that too. Good excuse to clean it out

it took me some where between 3 to five minutes maybe even less get 2 swivels and a couple of extencions and remover the air cleaner it will make it much easier

took me about an hour which included going to the store to pick up the flex socket
installing took the better half of the time

Took me about an hour. Did the 12mm universal joint/extension bar thing, used my special coat-hanger wire to lift up the sensor and tugged on the wire to pull it out.
