Valve Body Mod?

I have an auto tranny, can someone help me find a write up or explain what the valve body mod does exactly and how it works?

The valve body is basically an internal of the tranny, that tells the tranny how fast to shift gears. When you have it modified, the tranny will shift into gears a LOT quicker - therefore having no lag in btwn gears. That lag is what causes transmissions to blow/gears to brake. Of course...you could always cryo-treat the gears...but thats REAL affordable.
