Exactly which reviews have you "read"? Please list them and I'll review them for ya.

I have it. As for a power increase i say thats imposible. Call me crazy but i think my mpg did increase a little but not much. I think its more for looks then anything else.

Everything's possible. If your car's ground points are rusted to hell putting in new grounds could do wonders. As for a grounding kit, go to sears or any place that sells those orange extension cables. Buy those and some connectors and you got a grounding kit.

Red 8 Ga. subwoofer wire + Solder + Regular Connecters = Grounding Kit

My Ground spots: Driver headlight ground point, Pass headlight ground point, TB, IM, Engine Block, Alternator, KS ground point, Strut tower, firewall

Yes, i'm sure some of those are useless ground points, but why throw away the extra wire?

I thought about doing this mod, but i think having wires all over the place looks nasty.

I just read an article in a mag, they had a 350z with some big name grounding kit. They did before and after dynos. And guess what? It had a power increase. Something along the lines of +4 ftlbs and +3-5 hp. Crazy! But I do believe it. On orger used the HKS kit and dynoed something like +7 hp. I have a homemade kit. It looks neat, adds color, helps the electrical system, and adds power too. I dont feel the gains, but I really like the look so its all cool in my book.

BlehmCo's grounding kit is simple and all you need. $45 iirc. Designed specifically for the 4th gen.

can anyone make a write up on how we can do this mod, cause if this grouding kit can save my tails lights from going out (2nd time for no reason) then I'm all for it, plus if it give some gains and helps idle.

thanks

MDeezy:

you have a short somewhere, probably in the bulb harness. A grounding kit isn't going to circumvent this. A grounding kit at most maintains a smoother idle. It is more a preventative measure than anything else.

bruteMax,

I'll check it out, I reused old bulbs and then went out, so I'll try brand new ones and if it goes out then I do.

Also is there a way I can check with volt meter to check and see? or would it just be better to get a new bulb harness.

(mumbling: this things I have to fix seems to never end. . .)

Which bolt on the alternator is the ground? I want that grounded most of all, but haven't seen a write up with that included...

It does add HP/TQ. It has been dyno proven by various magazines and individuals.

As for correct grounding points, get a FSM. All factory grounding points are layed out in a diagram. I just piggy backed on all the factory grounding points plus a few more that helped my aftermarket gauges read more accurate.

My pictures. I took pictures of most of the grounding points.
