And there is also a slight vibration sometimes when it shifts into 4th gear... please don't tell me this means I'll be needing a new transmission anytime soon... I had my trans fluid checked and it smelled fine... what else could it be?? It generally sticks when it shifts in the higher RPM's and after it has been sitting over night but not all the time... which is why I'm confused!

If it is cold it may do that on occasion. Im assuming its auto when you say "it" shifts. It shifts to 4th, you mean O/D? Explain the "sticking" feeling.

 

Something is slipping, take it to a mechanic. Automatic tranny's are tricky, that's why I have a manual now.
