I made a bracket out of 1 inch wide aircraft alluminum that I got from Home Depot. I just put in a vise and bent it with a dead-blow hammer and a pair of chanel-locks until it was the right shape. It works great and the intake and tube have never moved. I can send you a picture if you would like.

Ok guys thank you. When I installed it, i noticed that it was a really sturdy piece of equipment and that it really doesn't move at all. But OMG it sounds great at WOT, I was surprised how quiet it is at highway speeds just cruising. My friends Accord is annoying at highway speeds but it is a Honda :-P

Watch out for the welds on the Frankencar. I've been hearing about leaks because of their cheap welding.

how did I know that someone would have to come in here and dog tthe Frankencar intake, even though the thread is just talking about mounting brackets....(*cough* all the Berk owners *cough*) It happens everytime the word "Frankencar" is used in any context.

So Here, I'll save everyone the trouble of posting about the FC in this thread:

"Dude Frankencar customer service sux!"
"Dude, the welds are bad"
"Dude you should get a Berk, it's God's gift to intakes"
"Dude they never answer my emails"
"Dude, companies with "Frank" in their name always suck"
"Dude, hear that Frankencar intakes explode when they get hot"
"Dude. Injen rules"
"Dude, the colors available clash with my underwear"
"Dude, FC intake weighs 145 pounds, and the Berk only weighs 2 ounces."
"Dude, aluminum is stronger than steel" (yes, someone posted that once)
"Dude, my condoms are better rubber than the FC tubing"
"Dude, the guys from frankencar are mean people who really just want to kill you and eat your brains with a spoon"
and so on....

For my part, I have one. Welds are solid and well-done. Customer service has been fine. I am pleased with the intake and will eventually get their catback...

now that that's out of the way, let's get back to the topic at hand.

Thanks Irish, from what I see on my intake it is very well built, and the butt dyno says that my car is faster than stock. :-P

yeah I don't know how much you need it, except not having it puts some strain on the rubber couplings and might cause them to bend and cause an air leak. Either way, you can make a bracket for them out of any piece of aluminum really...hell, you could probably use wood

So they didn't give you a bracket?

Call Frankencar and tell them to give you a bracket.
