I juss ordered a set of clear sidemarkers. This might have been asked before but what buylbns do i need for the clear sidemarkers?( 5th gen) and please send link to the cheapest place you can find for these bulbs

P.S.....ne info on the type of bulb used for 5th gen fogs (going with PIAA Super Plasma)and where i can get those for cheap?

I've gotten pulled over for having white lights all around. I have LED orange (front) and LED red (back)

I have the PIAA super plasma and I'm not impressed with them. The stock fog bulbs, even though the color isn't a match to HID, give off better light. I thought I was imagining it until even my wife said the stock lights lit up the road better. I would find other options before dropping $60.00 on a light you may not be happy with.....Just my opinion

 

very true...i juss got back from autozone with 194 lights.....but they are regular cklear....nebodyu in the new york area that has gotten tickets for these? can i use the stock blubs under my cclear sidemarkers and still have it considered legal?

 

you can get the bulbs in amber (for front) and red (for rear) at any auto parts store. the red ones looked a little pink so i sprayed mine with red spray paint to make them darker now they look stock.

I didnt wind up getting polarg lights from the autozoe.....all they had was some generic brand....the emplyee told me that they were the only 194 bulbs that autozone sold.....will the lighting still look good?

 

I got clear makers and super white lights for them. I also have the super plasma PIAA's for my headlights, fog lights, and license plate lights. I got them from the following websites:

I have Piaa Super Plasma Bulbs in my headlights and it looks pretty good. It has a Purplish tint to the white light. I got my bulbs at www.importperformancewarehouse.com and they were pretty good. you could check out their prices on Piaa bulbs. The last time I bought bulbs I picked up the 168 wedge Piaa xtreme white bulbs for my four clear side markers and i also picked up the xtreme white Dome bulb for the insides. Back then they gave free shipping for orders over $40 but now its $70. Hope this helps.
