When the traction control in my 01 GLE is turned on, the car hesitates tremendously esp from the start. When its turned off, theres no lag in power and feels like a whole different engine. Anyone know how the traction control in the maximas work and why such bad performance with teh traction control on?

 

Because thats its job. Its takes away power when the wheels loose traction. Should have got a manual with HLSD.

Have you done all the necessary TSB's for your Max?

 

Do you mean under normal driving conditions, or normal driving conditions of max drivers?

 

YOUR normal driving conditions. You don't drive like me, I have a 6-speed

 

pls dont hold that against me, :-) ive wanted a six speed for some time now but im gonna settle for a 5 spd. Then...........
