'89 won't start

This is kinda wierd. I've had it for over 3.5 years and the car has been running fine. The other day my wife had a flat and pulled over to change it. After she had the tire changed the car wouldn't start. It turned over, but wouldn't start. It doesn't seem to be getting fire from the coil wire, so I removed and checked the resistences and they were ok. The engine control fuse, the one on the right side of the engine compartment, was blown so I relplaced it and it blew again. I'm not sure if this is any indication of the problem or not. If anyone has any idea's I'd appreciate it before I have to take it to a mechanic.
Thanks and have a great day.

Problem
I don't know what it is but the fact that you are
blowing engine control fuses is not good I would check
your grounds on the body (located on the inside of the
front fenders) I will look it up in the Nissan service
manual and get back with you later.

Possible Answere....
If she blew a tire, it could had put the car close enough to the ground to where the wire on the oxygen sensor got tore off or striped. This happened to me when I wrecked and my muffler got ripped off at the flex pipe back. The wires hung down and would short every now and again. Worth checking these wires under the car. After fixing it, it was the last time untill when I had to tap my coil to get it to start. BTW, I'm going to just bypass the coil if someone can tell me which is the negative and which is positive on the two wires?
