my fog lights keep going out on my

I replaced the bulbs, replaced all the fuses all around the car. However, the fog lights only go on at random starts of the car. Just a few minutes ago they worked and I checked it, finally I turned off the car and went inside to get something and I went back outside, turned on lights again and they didn't work. The previous owner rewired the fogs to turn on with the corner and bumper lights. I seriously have no idea what is going on so any help would be nice.

maybe the wiring is not stable. have it checked out. and if there is anything loose, retighten them again, then it should be fine. they way you say that they go on and off like that, must be wire. if not, check the connection of the bulb in the fogs first. sometimes they can get lose. that's what happened to me. good luck

Does anyone think it could be a relay, because I am almost sure its not the wiring now. They basically work completely randomly. I won't even turn on the car or touch it and they will work. Then I turn the lights off for a few minutes and come back and turn them on and they don't work. And plus they don't turn off when I am driving or anything they just only don't work when I am turning them on.

95-99 maximas and 96-99 I30s are know for this problem, I have rewired corners, thats not the problem, I think its the relay, 1 bulbs last me 3 months or about 50hrs if im lucky. I want to rewire it with a seperate relay and switch. Whent the bulb goes the filamint is still good, but bulb turns black like it exploded inside.

My foglights just went out after installing a remote start/ alarm and after reading this post!!. So did my drivers side head light. The low beam doesn't work at all and the hi beam only works when I pull back the turn signal lever. When I push the turn signal forward to keep the hi beams on the hi beam doesn’t work on that bulb. I looked at the bulb and looks perfectly fine. I'll get another bulb, but is there a relay that operates the driver side and passenger side headlights separately?

Remote start and alarm works, turn signals, parking lights, and brake lights work. The only wire I touched in the alarm setup was the parking lights.

It seems like a trade off with this car. I try to improve things and something goes wrong. I put in aftermarket sound system and the clutch burns out. I replace the dash trim and a o2 sensor goes out. Now I put in an alarm and I can't drive legally at night.
