I heard it's different from painting.. What do they do when you want to powder coat your rims?

we just spray the nylon coating onto the metal and then send it through the oven to adhere the coating. i would assume that the process is very similar.

When the metal gets heated the molecules expand and allow the finish to actually bond by contraction as it is cooled. The only way to remove a powder coated finish is to re-heat and reverse the process.
