2003 Stock Automatic SE 1/4 & 0-60 Times??

Does anyone know what these are? Ive searched for them but cannot seem to locate them. It seems that everyone lists for just the manual. I wanna know how bad us autos get beat from the manuals??

expect about 14.8-14.9 if you get a good 60'. Unless you have a factory freak, then we're talking about 14.6 stock. Surprisingly, the manuals don't beat us too badly.

Man i wonder whats up with it seems like it lost some top end someplace, with a 2.1** you should be right where you were before. Alot of 3.5's seem to perform better without mods than with for some weird reason. I ran a 2.1 when I hit my 14.62 in mine, low humidity about 85 that day.

I ran a 14.9 with a 2.2 60' with just a cone filter intake...but traction was a bit of a problem...my pirelli's aren't too sticky. And there was about 85% humidity that day.
Don't forget too a good reaction time helps alot. ;-)

I've ran 14.9 @ 92mph with a 2.2 60'. This was 110% bone stock in 80* weather. That would put the 0-60 in the low 6's. Now that I have some more miles and with some cool weather I hope to get a 14.7.

Sweet!!! After riding in my friends 6 speed 03 max it just seemed to be much faster! Guess its the gears that make it feel that way. Kinda misleading.

ya the 6 speed will feel faster. 1st gear is way shorter. course while times may be about the same, the 6 speed will trap 2-3 mph faster on average (from what I've seen here) than the auto, hence the better power transfer through a manual tranny than an auto

Sorry Monte, I lead you on. I think we're talking about the same person, MaximusLow. He ran a 14.45 @ 95.27 with a 2.159 60' bone stock. Here's the thread

Hard to say. It 'seems' that most of the 6th gen guys are less die hard on performance than previous gens, thus not alot of track times. I do recall seeing a 14.2 stock for the 6th gen auto . In the 6th gen forum there is a sticky I believe with their limited 1/4 mile times. All that being said, I think they are pretty equal.

Don't they weigh alot more though?? Therefore making them slower. I thought I remember seeing C&D saying that the 6spd did 6.4 0-60, 14.8 1/4 whereas a 5.5 Gen 6spd did it in 6.0 to 60 and 14.6 in the 1/4. And its been my observation C&D gets the best times out of most cars...(they hire professional drivers)

I don't know about C&D, but this guy Glude ran a 14.39 with a k&n panel only. The guy who ran a 14.2 actually took a rental 6th gen. to the track...

The '04+ SE 5 speed autos are slightly heavier, geared better, and most likely make 280 hp at the crank instead of the advertised 265. That's why they are appearing to be slightly to significantly faster than the '02-'03 Maxima autos...

If they do have 280hp at the crank, that would be awsome....... I wonder how much they are dynoing.
