JIC Instructions?????

Can someone help me with the JIC adjustment instructions. I just got them in the mail and I only got 1 piece of paper with the kit without any other instructions.

I'm trying to find out how do you figure out how much of the turning on the top to make the hardness or softness of the shock.

How do you do this?

I will post pics when I complete the project. I'm lucky my best friend has a automotive shop which he will do it for me for free.

Thanks!

which ones did you get? for the a2s, you will have to rotate the **** counter clockwise to begin at zero, being the softest. if the **** gets stuck while trying to adjust firmness, then at the stuck position, back off about a quarter click(you will understand when you get to this point), and then resume adjustment.

I bought the A1's which I am confused on how to adjust them. I guess your right about starting at the softest and working your way up. But not sure how much to turn it. I hate to do the trial and error but I guess I don't have a choice.

well, it is a lot EASIER with the a1's since the adjusting **** on all four struts are on top, vs. the a2s which the front ones have them on the bottom. the only hard part is getting the rears to your liking, since you have to make access to the rear struts vs. opening up your hood. just turn it all the way counter clockwise until it won't turn anymore, and start from there. I think the a1s only have like 5 clicks, but dont quote me on that.

sr20 - easy on the haterade. when it comes time for you to ask questions, you wouldn't want anyone talking crap about your inquiry, now would you?

no need to cut down on someone else's misfortune or inquiry, though.
