Its basically road racing right? how do you get started in this...im interested in this, but know nothing about it. Any info would be great.

No, it's not road racing. It's a lowish speed obstacle course sorta thing, turns here and there, fast straights (sometimes up to 50 MPH or so.. maybe more).

It's done in parking lots. Cones are setup for a track. TONS of fun and a great learning experience.

The SCCA has divided regions through the country, and they hold events.

I think www.scca.org will give you the info you need.
