Last nite while driving home i noticed my dash to be not as bright as I remember.. All dash and interior lights work but I thought I remember having the buttons that say "Auto,Mode,OFF,and the rise/lower of fan speed" buttons on my climate control lighting up after I turn on my headlights.. My dad told me that maybe i messed something up when i did the clock mod where I cut the red wire w/ blue tracer.. Can anyone shed some light on whether the climate control buttons should light up.. Thanks

Also, when i press the buttons that are marked for recirculation(green) and defroster(orange) they Do light up.. Im wondering if the white letters light up?

 

not all of them...i thin fan speed and auto eco and off i think its not dark here yet

 

Mine dont work either. I noticed it last night.

 

Mine havent worked since I got the car so I was hoping there is another solution to it instead of replacing the bulbs one by one.

 

that happened to me right after i did the clock mod. Auto, econ, mode fan speed, temp, and rear defroster are blown. I think i really should have disconnected the battery when doing it. I really think it should state it in the DIY guide as well. I was going to solder in LEDs but I don't wanna mess with the sensitive sensors connected to the auto climate. I'll end up buying those $20 rice spot lights and shining them onto it . easiest way out

 

The lights you mentioned are indeed supposed to light. They light on mine. I have not modded anything on the console.
