vq35 vs vq30 exhaust note

ok my question is how come the 3.5 sounds so sweet with exhuast and you can hear an audiable pitch all the way up to redline but when you have a resonated exhaust on a 3.0 the pitch always dies off around 3K rpm or so? i really want a bassey exhaust that is still audiable up to redline like the 3.5 guys do they sound awsome. i know its prolly just that extra .5 liters and the way the engine is set up. how can i get the bassyist note out of the exhaust, as right now i have a non resonated b pipe and am going to be putting a resonator on soon. i also have a test pipe and y pipe now that mixed with a resonator (size?) should come out pretty bassy correct? idk im just kinda sick of having such a loud exhaust and want to go back to bassy -ryan
