i was wondering if i can tighten up my throttle body wire to maby reduce the lag of my car soo when i press down the gas it doesnt take like forever too start going....

 

Have someone else floor the gas pedal. Check under the hood to see if the throttle is all the way open.

If it is, dont mess with it.

If you want to go faster, push the pedal farther.

Actually that is part of a 60,000 mile service. Standing in front of the car looking at the half moons that your cables run in. The one closest to you is the cruise control and the one closest to the throttle body is the throttle cable. All you have to do is is follow the cable back to the bracket that holds the caseing. There is two nuts, one on each side of the bracket. Loosen one and tighten the other, backing the cable casing away from the throttle body tightens the cable.
