yes many times. seal replacement is the same regardless. make sure you get the correct seals for a VE30DE 5-sp. I highly suggest buying a seal puller and if you think you are going to be doing much seal replacement, a seal installer kit. but if you are carefull, you can tap it in STRAIGHT!

what he said.

If you just replaced the fluid, you can re-use it as well. clean out your drip pan extremely well, then you can drain the fluid and just pour it back in when you're done.

if you don't want to buy any extra tools, use your old seal to tap the new one in straight.

This is definately the way to go if you dont have the tools. Also, you can put the new seals in a refrigerator/freezer for a bit so that they contract and go in a little easier.

Have you tried that? That seems like one hell of an idea for the larger seal. That one is huge pain to drive in straight. Does it just "drop" in w/o any tapping?

Yeah, I left it in the freezer for a couple hours. It still Kinda hard to get in, but then again the tranny was still on my car when I did it. It does make it a hell of a lot easier to put in straight though.
