clock rewire -

Anyone wired the clock to the dimmer switch on a 97?
It's always annoyed me that I can't see the clock when the lights are on during the day (rain and so forth). You can brighten things up by clicking the dimmer up a notch, but for some reason Nissan failed to include my clock in with the radio and climate control.
I saw a mod to keep it bright all the time (clip one wire), but I want to keep consistent lighting throughout the center console.
Thanks...

make sure u take the negative off the battery, or u might blow out your climate control lights like i did. I dont know if it happened to a lot of other people, but it did to me.

I think you just have to cut a wire, but i am not sure which one.
