fuel pump just quit?

OK, this seems a little wierd, but maybe that's how these things go out. I've been changing out injectors, so I pulled the pump fuse to release the pressure. Got everything back together, put the fuse back in, turned the key....nothing. No fuel pump noise at all. Cranks fine, but no fuel.. checked the fuse, it's fine. Can the pump just die like that, or is there soemthing else I'm missing?

Try banging on the bottom of the gas tank.I was 600 miles away from home when my fuel pump died.so I smacked the tank with a wrench and got it back going till i got it back home. It also confirmed the problem.

you need to check to make sure you have 12 volts getting to the pump it could be a stuck relay also
