Pics wanted! smoked corner lights!
Hey guys.
I just got my clear bumper lights, and I'm trying to decide whether or not to tint them. I have 2000 silver (sterling mist?) maxima, and i think it would look sweet. Leaving them clear looks pretty cool too though. Has anyone tinted their bumper lights with a silver max? I have seen a black one on the org, and it looks sweet, but I want to see a silver one before I do it.
Thanks!

I've smoked my red and orange OEM ones. Not sure exactly what the point of buying clears and then smoking them is.....the color shines through much nicer with the OEM lenses smoked instead of pinkish in the clears.....

I used the same color black that my car is to smoke them (NOT "smoke"/tint paint)...
I think it would look cool if you used a color-matching enamel to your car color...(i.e lights would be body-colored in the day, but still shine through at night...)

oh, i dont know what the original poster was thinkin, but in my mind, i was thinkin about possibly cracking open the clear corners, like the headlights, and smoking the inside.
Hey,
I actually ended up wrapping the lights with plastic food wrap and painting thw plastic temporarily to see what it looked like on the car. It looked sweet, so i painted the lights. The front ones turned out sweet, but i cant get the old rear lights out. do you guys know any tricks?
Oh, the paint I used was pactra window tint. It is actually for R/C car bodies. The paint actually absorbs into the plastic so it doesn't crack or anything. If you clean the lenses really good, painting the outside works really well.
